Help Wendy Mullins-Daley Beat Breast Cancer

An amazing person, Wendy Mullins-Daley has been presented with the fight of her life. After an 'all is well' Mammogram reading last August, on June 14th this year Wendy was diagnosed with Stage 2B, Grade 3 Triple Negative Invasive Ductal Carcinoma after she felt a growth in her right breast. This type of breast cancer is one of the most aggressive and challenging to treat. Wendy has been on a fast track with extensive testing, scans and surgery to insert a port to deliver the chemo & immunotherapy drugs. This week Wendy will be receiving her 7th treatment of a round of 16 chemo & immunotherapy infusions. This will be followed by surgery, possibly radiation and more chemo & immunotherapy. Her treatment is expected to take about a year. During this time, Wendy and her family will need as much emotional and financial support as possible. Wendy will not be able to work during this year and will be getting little help from disability, all while her day-to-day costs are escalating, causing financial hardship.

Wendy is a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a girlfriend, a loyal friend, a giver, a gifted artist and designer and a flight attendant extraordinaire. She has two great sons, Jack and Grayson, who have been very supportive (& even shaved their heads when the time came for Mom to do this, along with Scott, who has also been a rock). Wendy hopes to do artwork during treatments to keep her mind and spirit healthy while on this long journey of recovery & healing.
