I’m reaching out to ask for support for my Aunt Wendy during an incredibly difficult and unexpected time.

Wendy is currently in the hospital facing serious medical issues, including a mass in her throat that is still being evaluated. On top of this health scare, she was laid off this past Friday from her long-time position at The Daily Star — a job she dedicated years of hard work and loyalty to.

As she focuses on her health and next steps, everyday life doesn’t pause. Wendy is now facing ongoing household bills, living expenses, and the growing burden of medical costs that will continue to add up during this time.
