Help Wendy Pitts Heal: Support Her Knee Surgery Recovery

Hello, my name is Madeline Guest, and I am currently a student teacher working with the most wonderful mentor, Wendy Pitts, an elementary music teacher at Johnston and Columbus Elementary who has dedicated 35 years of her life to inspiring and educating young minds. Wendy is truly one-of-a-kind, bringing music, joy, and creativity into countless lives.

However, Wendy is facing a serious challenge. She desperately needs a knee replacement surgery due to severe osteoarthritis, which means her bones to grind against each other and causes immense pain every day. To recover properly, she'll need to take six weeks off work, starting in February. Unfortunately, she cannot afford to take this much unpaid time off.

This is where we need your help. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to ensure Wendy can take the time she needs to heal without financial stress.
