Title: Help Wendy Fight B-Cell Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma: A Story of Hope and Urgent Need
Hello, everyone,
My name is Wendy Parenteau, and I'm reaching out to you today with a heart heavy but hopeful.
At 56 years old, I've been blessed with a loving husband, Jerry, and we've shared 35 beautiful years together, filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. We have a son Nicholas and his wife Kristen and their 4 month daughter Isabella from Mcveytown, PA Congregation, son Nathaniel his wife Dana and their 2 children Lexi(4) and Logan(2), Bridgewater ME Congregation, Daughter Amanda her husband Trevor Koehn, Granite Hills Congregation, NH, and son Noah Bridgewater, ME Congregation.
However, our lives took an unexpected turn when I received the devastating diagnosis of B-cell non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma just yesterday. This aggressive cancer has thrust us into a battle we never anticipated, but we're facing it head-on with faith, strength, and the unwavering support of our family and friends.
In just over a week, on May 18, we're scheduled to fly out to a specialized cancer treatment facility in Mesa, Arizona. The urgency of my condition demands immediate action, and this facility offers a life-saving program tailored to combat this aggressive form of cancer. But with this opportunity comes a staggering financial burden. The treatment alone costs $100,000, and that's not including the additional expenses for travel, accommodation, and daily living costs during our two-month stay.
We're reaching out to you, our community, in this time of need, with a humble request for financial assistance. Your generous contributions will not only help cover the cost of my treatment but also alleviate the strain of travel and living expenses for my husband and I. Every dollar donated brings us one step closer to the hope of healing and the promise of a future together.
We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support we've already received. Your encouragement fuels our spirits and strengthens our resolve to fight this battle with all we have. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we embark on this journey towards healing.
Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can overcome this obstacle. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing by our side during this challenging time.
With love and gratitude,
Jerry & Wendy Parenteau and family
