Hello, I'm Burgundy Coleman and I've started this fundraiser for my grandma Wendy Mangus. My grandma is 72 years old and full of spunk and joy. Wendy started to become sick, and this is when we found out the unexpected news. Wendy has stage 4 adenocarcinoma, which is a colorectal cancer. The original tumor was found within the rectum, and the cancer has spread to her liver, which has caused several lesions. Additionally, the cancer has also spread to lymph nodes near her intestines. On top of finding out that she has cancer, a pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis was also identified. A pulmonary embolism is when their are blood clots in the lungs that are blocking an artery. Deep vein thrombosis is is when there are deep vein blood clots, located in her right leg. She is a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, friend, and a smiling face to many. Wendy has the fight that is within her soul and she is ready to take this cancer down head on.
