Hello everyone,

My name is Kelly and I am Wendy's sister and James' sister-in-law. As many of you know, Wendy and James are generous individuals, both in terms of their time and talents. Over the years, they have both stepped up to support our family during some of our hardest moments. Whether it was caring for our sister, Chris, our father, or just hanging out with their nieces and nephews, they both have helped willingly and with smiles on their faces.

Now, it's time for James and Wendy to get a bit of help, as they are both facing their own health struggles.

James began dialysis in January 2025 after developing End Stage Kidney Failure. He now attends treatments three times a week for four hours at a time and will need to continue until he becomes eligible for a transplant. Wendy took several weeks of FMLA leave early in the year to learn his dialysis care and help him adjust, and since returning to work she has continued taking time off to accompany him to doctor appointments and provide transportation when he cannot drive.

More recently, Wendy has developed her own serious medical issues. Doctors discovered a mass on her adrenal gland that is pressing on surrounding organs. She has already missed several days of work for testing and appointments, and testing is still ongoing with no official diagnosis yet. Wendy is expected to undergo major surgery in the coming weeks to remove the mass, followed by recovery time and additional follow-up care.

With both Wendy and James facing significant health challenges, medical costs and everyday expenses have been piling up. Wendy will need to take another leave from work for her surgery and recovery, reducing their household income while transportation needs, medical bills, and regular monthly expenses continue.

I am asking on their behalf to consider supporting James and Wendy, both spiritually and financially, as they navigate this difficult season. If you are unable to contribute monetarily, we appreciate prayers and positive words of encouragement, as we believe in both to be very powerful for healing. Monetary Donations will help cover medical bills, rideshare transportation for James’s dialysis treatments, and essential monthly expenses while Wendy is unable to work.
