On Tuesday, November 18th, my sister Wendy’s husband, Matty Deschenes (44), suffered an internal brain bleed resulting in a stroke. The stroke was so severe that it damaged parts of his brain used to breathe, walk, talk, and keep the body functioning. Unfortunately, nothing surgical could be done to stop the bleeding or repair the damage caused to the brain. Matty passed surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, November 19th. He has left behind a son, Collin, who is 13 years old. Matty did not have health or life insurance. We would love to be able to help lighten their financial load and let them heal without worrying about funeral expenses, utilities, and normal day-to-day expenses.
