Weldon Whitehurst, owner of Virginia Beach Truck Center and active member of the Virginia Independent Automobile Dealers Association and the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association, has been suffering with some serious medical conditions for quite a while. His liver had failed and things were looking up a few months ago as a transplant donor was found. Regrettably, things have not gone well since then and the prognosis isn't good.
Weldon is a strong and proud man and has decided to put his faith in God. He has instructed his family and doctors to stop any life saving medical procedures. He and his wife could use your prayers.
But just as importantly, his wife Susan could use your financial assistance as well. We're raising money to give straight to her to take care of the mounting medical bills and to pay other expenses related to Weldon's care and illness. The Whitehurst family could use your help right now!
Weldon has owned Virginia Beach Truck Center for over 30 years. He's been an active and involved member of the VIADA for many years serving as District 1 (Tidewater) President five times. He has also served on the State Board in many positions including President and Chairman of the Board. He's been active on the national level as well, attending the NIADA's Leadership and Legislative Summits and serving on the President's Council. He is truly one of the good guys.
Please dig deep and donate what you can. Susan could use all the help she can get and we need to take care of one of our own!
If you would prefer, you can mail a check payable to Susan Whitehurst, c/o VIADA, 1525 Huguenot Road, Suite 102, Midlothian, VA 23113. We will forward them to her as soon as they come in.
Sincerely,
Andrew Wiley,
President, VIADA
Owner, Consumers Auto Warehouse, Inc.
