Help Weldon Murphy Recover After Tragic Hit-and-Run
Donation protected
On the early morning of July 10, 2025, Weldon Murphy, a.k.a. Wells, a 37-year-old beloved father, devoted significant partner, friend, and full-time barber in Fayetteville, NC, was the victim of a devastating hit-and-run accident. He was left critically injured and had to be rushed to Chapel Hill, where he remains in the ICU.
Weldon suffered a broken jaw, fractured neck, 2 broken legs, a broken arm, broken collarbone & shoulder, and a shattered & dislocated pelvis. Doctors say he will be in a wheelchair, and he may never regain full mobility. As a hardworking barber and a jack of all trades, Weldon used his hands, legs, and energy to provide for his family every day. Now, he faces the heartbreaking reality that he may never be able to return to the career he loved.
This tragedy has completely changed his life in an instant. Weldon is known for being outgoing, motivated, and always bringing good energy to those around him. Seeing him in this condition is painful for everyone who knows and loves him.
We are asking for your help to support Weldon and his family during this incredibly difficult time. Donations will go toward:
• Hospital bills and critical medical care
• Surgeries, rehabilitation, and long-term care needs
• Equipment and home modifications for life in a wheelchair
• Basic living expenses as Weldon can no longer work
Whether you donate or simply share this page, please keep Weldon in your prayers. Every bit of support brings hope and relief. Thank you for standing with him as he fights to heal and adjust to his new reality.
With love and gratitude,
