When someone leaves this world far too soon, the lives they touched are changed forever.

My name is Stephen, and I had the privilege of being Weezy’s friend and employer. He was more than an employee. Emanuel Adams, known to so many as Weezy, was a hardworking man, a loyal friend, and most importantly, a father who loved his three teenage boys with everything he had. Our hearts were also broken by the loss of Destiny Fields, who leaves behind her 10-year-old son, Truth. After Emanuel and Destiny were reported missing, local law enforcement in Carroll County searched for them for over a week. In a heartbreaking turn, they were found deceased in a car accident. Now their children, Jamarius Adams, also known as Peanut Butter, 15, Javarius Adams, also known as Jelly, 15, Emmanuel Farley, also known as Squirrel, 17, and Truth, 10, are facing unimaginable grief and the painful reality of moving forward without them.

Stephen is organizing this fundraiser to help these children through one of the hardest seasons of their lives. Every dollar donated will be used to help meet their needs, including school supplies, clothing, groceries, transportation, extracurricular activities, counseling, and other necessities as they arise. The funds will be managed responsibly and used solely for the benefit of the children. If you’re able to give, any contribution will be greatly appreciated. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping these children and their families in your thoughts and prayers. Every share, prayer, and contribution makes a difference. Thank you for helping honor Weezy’s and Destiny’s memories by showing their children that they are loved, supported, and not alone.
