My name is Toby "Bucky" Buchan and I am raising money for one of my best friends Jon Wetzel (Weasel). We were in the same RAG class at VMAT-203 and both checked into VMA-542 back in Jan 99. Weasel was a Flight Instructor at Meridian, MS for his last tour before getting out of the Marine Corps in 2006. Since then he's been working in the Veterinarian sales business and done well for himself. As of 2013, he has been working for a multi-billion dollar German veterinarian company and was the Senior Territory Manager for Western PA. This particular company was founded in 1885 and safe to say its been through some tough times over the years, but has managed to survive and prosper. In 2021 the company showed its true colors in response to COVID-19. For starters, the company withheld 30% of his (and other employees) commission for 2021 which was due to pay out in early Jan 2022...think that was just a coincidence? Then even after the 5th Circuit "Stay" on the Biden vaccine mandate for companies over 100 employees, they still mandated the vaccine for all their employees (just like ABC/Disney etc) and Weasel was subsequently fired on 1 Dec. He even submitted a Religious Exemption and received a standardized letter one hour later from HR saying it was disapproved. Even better, they don't owe him the remaining 30% of his commission he earned in 2021. Weasel is married and has four kids; a junior at the University of Tennessee and a senior, junior and freshman in high school. To say he's stressed would be an understatement at this time. He's looking for other jobs in the same field but nothing has come to fruition at this time. Weasel is exactly like me....we don't care if you or your loved ones have been vaccinated or not or want to wear a mask driving in your car by yourself. That's your personal choice, but to mandate an experimental vaccine (and booster) that CLEARLY does not prevent infection, transmission, hospitalization or death and has caused numerous vaccine injuries and deaths is unconstitutional and quite frankly downright criminal. Back to the task at hand. Weasel is the most red-blooded, patriotic American you will ever meet and he and his family need our help now! He would kill me if he knew I was doing this and I want to surprise him and his family with a check in person two weeks from now. I did not want to make him a beneficiary on the account or else the gig would be up. I put down a pretty lofty goal, but between all the Harrier bubbas out there and others, I know we can put a pretty sizeable dent in this thing and it's for a just and righteous cause.
