Wilmore Christian Academy (WCA) is a private school located in Tema, Ghana. We are seeking your generous support for funding of a new playground for our students.

Wilmore Christian Academy is a school that provides quality education and holistic development for children from infants to middle school. Our school was founded in 2017 by a group of passionate educators who wanted to offer an alternative to the public school system. Since then, we have grown to serve over 300 students from different backgrounds and abilities. Our curriculum is based on the national standards and incorporates Christian values and principles. Our teachers are qualified, experienced and dedicated to helping our students achieve their full potential.

One of the ways we achieve our mission is by providing our students with a safe and stimulating environment where they can play, learn and grow. However, our current playground is inadequate and outdated. It has limited space, equipment and facilities that do not meet the needs and interests of our diverse student population.

That is why we are proposing to build a new playground that will offer our students a variety of play options and experiences that will enhance their physical, social, emotional and cognitive development. The new playground will have:

- A large open area with grass and trees for running, jumping and playing games

- A climbing wall and a zip line for adventure and challenge

- A swing set and a slide for fun and relaxation

- A sandbox and a water play area for creativity and exploration

- A fence and a gate for security and safety

- Wood chips or recycled shredded tires for ground cover and safety

The total cost of the project is estimated at $10,000. This includes the design, construction, equipment, installation and maintenance of the new playground. We have already raised $500 from our own fundraising efforts. We are now seeking your generous contribution to help us reach our goal.
