Support Wazilyn's Medical Needs

Donation protected
I'm fundraising in behalf of my close friend whose sister needs continued medical support. The family is in need prayers and monetary support. Please help us in this time of need.

Here is her story...
Wazilyn suffered from a ruptured brain aneurysm on July 19th, 2024, to the grief and heartbreak of her family. They later discovered that she was born with an AVM (arterio-venous malformation), just waiting to burst. After an unsuccessful surgery to manage the bleeding, Wazilyn became comatose requiring ventilation support in ICU. Gradually she became stable and was transferred to a long term care facility.
Currently ,she was not able to wean off from tracheotomy and with continued need of oxygen. She receives nourishment through peg tube . She is also on urinary catheter .
The facility can no longer take care of her needs and has decided to repatriate her to the Philippines. The family is now on the process of repatriating her back to the Philippines the soonest .
Wazilyn and her family cannot afford the life support needed to keep her alive and breathing. If she is transferred to a Philippine hospital, medical care will be given based on what patients/ family can afford to pay. Wazilyn will likely die without financial support.

Wazilyn’s family has not given up hope, for they believe that “the Lord sustains [the sick] on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness” (Psalm 41:3).
Wazilyn has a big heart; after graduating college, she worked hard as a sales lady, using her meager salary to support her family back home instead of saving for her own future. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the tech shop she was employed at since 2008 was about to foreclose. Generously, Wazilyn agreed to work without pay and even loaned money to her employer to help keep the business afloat. Tirelessly, she labored without days off so the shop could stay open. Unfortunately, Wazilyn’s employer has refused to pay her back, despite her loyal, invaluable help.

Jesus states in Matthew 25:35-40, “I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me…whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

Wazilyn’s family is grateful for every donation. Whatever God leads you to give, we thank you for your generous support and prayers.

God bless you all!
