9/15 Update:
Wayne is now in a men's shelter in Wilmington - The House of Joseph I. They're great people who are helping him get back on track. He's had a full medical and physiological evaluation and they can't find a single thing wrong with him! He's settling in to his new digs now and starting to rebuild his life back home in Wilmington.
He's hoping to set up a dog walking service between working on his main passion, music and is extraordinarily grateful for all the friends who have extended a hand up. If you feel like it, reach out to him. You won't be disappointed.
We're raising a fund to help our friend Wayne Watson who's just returned home to Wilmington, Delaware. You remember the Watson Brothers and maybe a few of their classics - “Slipping On By,” “You Gotta Take the Fall,” and “Girls on TV.”
Wayne has recently become homeless. A dear friend of his, Bob, has been paying for a motel room while we work with Christiana Care and Adult Protective Services to get him long-term accommodations and a hand up through this difficult period.
We're looking for kind souls willing to donate $10, $20 or anything up to $50 to help with room and board, transportation, and other needs as he gets his feet on the ground.
Anything you can do and if you're willing to share this go fund me with others who might contribute, it will make a big difference.
Thank you all for your generosity.
