My name is Chara and I am starting this page in hopes of helping my brother and his family with expenses due to unexpected health issues and hospitalization. Unfortunately Wayne was hospitalized the end of November due to the Covid-19 virus and has been fighting for his life ever since. He was placed on a ventilator, had a trach placed and recently had to start dialysis. He was transferred from Apple Valley to La Mirada where he continues to fight. He has been unable to tolerate any type of food or nutrition and has lost substantial weight. He is slowly starting to talk again but is still unable to get out of bed or walk. He is currently still in the ICU due to his condition. He is fighting congestive heart failure and kidney disease. Wayne is one of the most caring and loyal people you would ever meet in your life. There is not a person I know that he wouldn’t be willing to help out if asked. All though he has made some progress he still has a long road to recovery ahead of him. He is unable to work and will be unable for a long time to come. His wife drives down daily from Phelan to La Mirada to be with him during these vital times and she still has their 2 daughters to take care of. Any help is greatly appreciated by myself and our entire family. Please continue to pray for Wayne and his recovery.
