Hello my name is Heather and I’m fundraising for my Dad Wayne. About a month ago my dad drove from California to Arizona to help take care of his sick parents who unknowingly had covid. After testing positive my dad tried to quarantine away from them while still tending to their care but also ended up with covid pneumonia. Soon, my Dad had to leave Arizona to be hospital in California where his insurance could cover his care. After over 2 weeks In the hospital and a scary tough fight with covid, he is thankfully on the road to recovery and hoping to be discharged before Christmas. Regardless, he will still need oxygen, rehabilitation and rest to fully recover his lungs and strength from the damage done, for up to a month. Wayne had a small at home business that he works hard at to provide for himself and my mother but due to his absence from home for almost a month now he has obviously had no income and will soon feel the financial burden of his illness.

I know it’s close to the holidays and hard to come up with extra money but if you can donate to this fundraiser for him I promise you will be contributing to the life of a man who is so deserving, so kind and selfless , and would be so thankful. I have seen him give over and over again even when he has little for himself. This fundraiser will mean he can come home from the hospital and not have to worry about the bills he’s behind on and can focus on his healing.
