Hi everyone, my name is Rikaya, and I am raising funds for my dear friend Wayne and his village in Jamaica, whose lives were completely turned upside down by Hurricane Melissa.

Wayne’s home and his entire community have been destroyed. Families have lost everything — their houses, belongings, and the small businesses they depended on to survive. The local school was severely damaged, leaving children without a safe place to learn. There’s no power, limited access to clean water, and only brief moments of Wi-Fi when Wayne travels to nearby hotels just to send updates.

If you’ve ever met Wayne, you know he’s the kind of person who lights up every room (and every tour bus!). Through Wayne’s World Excursions, he’s shared the real Jamaica — not just the beaches and waterfalls, but the warmth, laughter, and heart of his people. He’s made countless visitors feel like family, offering unforgettable experiences filled with joy, music, and love.

Now, Wayne and his family need us. He’s doing his best to care for his four beautiful children — 14-year-old twins, a 6-year-old, and a 3-year-old — while helping others in his community who have nowhere else to turn. Despite the devastation, his strength and optimism have never faded.

We’re raising funds to help Wayne and his neighbors rebuild from the ground up. Your donation will go toward:

• A generator so Wayne’s family can have light and stay connected

• Clean water and food for his children and others in the village

• Rebuilding homes and repairing the local school, so families and children can start again

• Essential household items like a fridge, stove, beds, and other necessities to restore daily life
