Hi my name is Wayne Hamlin. I Lost My Wife to cancer 2 years ago. Then a year later I was diagnosed with cancer of the head and neck. I went through 35 rounds of head and neck radiation and 6 chemotherapy treatments. During this time I lost 78 lbs in just over a month. Now I have lymphedema which basically means my lymphatic system doesn’t work properly. Rehabilitation recommended a compression machine for my head and upper torso that compresses my body to make my lymphatic system work properly to keep the fluids moving. A claim was put in to the insurance company and they denied it saying it wasn’t necessary. Meanwhile my neck gets hard and clumpy with built up fluids that gets hard. So this appears to be my only option. And I Hate doing it and have Never asked for help before. I am retired military and I called them. They said if the primary denies it ( and they hate that they did ) but they would have to deny it also. What a Great Medical System !!!! If you can’t help I understand. Thank You all and God Bless. .
