Help Wayne Gain Mobility with an Electric Wheelchair

Hi I’m Maggie, Wayne’s daughter. Last year my dad suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm. When they operated to fix the aneurysm he had a stroke. This caused him to lose the use of his right leg and right arm. A few months later he suffered another stroke, which caused him to temporarily lose most of his speech. Thankfully that was only temporarily, but he still has no use of his right leg and minimal use of his right arm. He’s been in a wheel chair for over a year. They used their savings to buy a minivan with wheelchair accessibility. He’s on disability and was receiving Medicaid. Medicaid was in the process of getting him approved for an electric wheelchair. But then his Medicaid was terminated “for making too much money” so unfortunately this stopped the process of him receiving his electric wheelchair. I’d like to gather the funds for him to get an electric wheelchair this would greatly improve his use of mobility and lessen the load on his beautiful girlfriend Valerie. If you know us, you know we never ask for financial help, but unfortunately I can’t afford to buy him one on my own right now. And due to him losing his Medicaid which in turn caused Valerie to lose her caregiver pay, they are financially strapped. If we go over our goal any left over will go towards medical bills.
