Wayne and Marilyn Van Oss have had a rough few weeks.

On October 30th, Wayne fell off a roof while at work. His boss found him and brought him to the emergency room, where they discovered that he had fractured multiple bones in his pelvic region as well as tore his rotator cuff.

Wayne underwent surgery on Saturday the 1st to stabilize his broken pelvic bones, and then was transferred to Mary Free Bed Therapy Hospital to begin the initial healing process.

Marilyn has in the mean time been taking trips back and forth from work in Holland, to Grand Rapids to visit Wayne, and back home to Drenthe. As she was driving home on the night of November 13th, Marilyn had a collision with a deer. She was luckily uninjured in this incident, but her car was totaled.

The team at Windmill Island has been collecting resources to help Marilyn and Wayne through this horrible spell of rough luck, but wanted to launch this GoFundMe to allow others to offer help to them more easily.
