Wasim Merchant is preparing to battle a primary brain tumor discovered during an MRI after he was seen in the Emergency Room following a series of mild seizures. The emergent brain biopsy was performed one week prior to his 35th birthday on April 17th. As a full time student majoring in Geological Engineering at San Diego State University and father to his 4 year-old daughter Kamila, Wasim worked as a part-time Uber driver for supplemental income.
