Help Waseem's Family Survive in Gaza
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Leslie. I am an American citizen that stands with the Palestinian people and their well-being. I have been asked by Waseem and his family to help them as they are surviving through this terrible war in Gaza.
Waseem and his family include 6 people: himself, 24, his sister, 21, and two younger brothers, 17 and 5 years old, and his mother and father.
They are currently living in a refugee tent camp in Al-Quarara. They have already been displaced 4 times after their home was bombed.
Here is his situation as he describes it:
“I am Waseem from the northern Gaza Strip. I used to work as an IT engineer. My house was bombed and my workplace was bombed. My family and I were displaced to the south of Gaza and we were displaced 4 times from place to place. My future and the future of my family were destroyed and now we do not have any source of livelihood to live on. We live in daily suffering such as standing. Long hours under the sun to fill water, and we also walk long distances to search for food, and there is also no cooking gas. We use fire as an alternative to gas. We suffer from fire smoke and we also suffer from the heat of the tents. I also need help to buy food items, the price of which has increased due to the lack of food items in the markets due to the closure of the crossings.
Now we do not have anything. I want help to buy food for me and my family, and my little brother needs milk and Pampers. Our greatest asset is water.”
Waseem and so many Palestinians are living in dire conditions and need help to get basic needs to survive.
Please consider donating to help this family and spreading the word to help raise funds.
Thank you,
Leslie
