Hello to the free people of the world: I am Waseem Rami, a resident of the Gaza Strip. We are now living a brutal war from the Israeli killing machine. I do not want and refuse to be the next victim of this brutal Israeli war. We deserve and want to live in safety and peace like other peoples. I am a fourth-year veterinary medicine student at Al-Azhar University. I cannot complete my education now because of this war on Gaza. I was with my family, a happy family living in the central region. We were safe and everything was calm and beautiful in Gaza. I was in my university with my family and in our house, full of beautiful memories until October 7. The war on Gaza came and the killing and destruction machine did not stop and the missiles rained down on us. We were forced to move to safe areas inside Gaza. Our house was bombed and was no longer safe after that. My university, Al-Azhar, was bombed and the buildings completely collapsed. All the beautiful memories in my university and in our house collapsed and my entire future and all the hope I had collapsed. Unfortunately, we fled and left everything behind us and went to the displacement areas in Deir al-Balah with only my family and I in our clothes.
