Hey y’all,

I said I would never do this, but my back is against the wall and the kiddos and I need major help.

Our living situation has become impossible and toxic. My upstairs neighbors are repeatedly complaining to my landlord about noise coming from my apartment. They are now recording our home and threatening to call the police. What noise are they complaining about?

Loud doors (my rental is a very old house) and the everyday sounds of my three children, including “hearing a kid cry”.

Most recently, they interrupted and essentially ruined my youngest daughter's birthday party due to the playful sounds of kids celebrating (at 3 pm on a Saturday).

I have no real recourse but to move out. As a family, we cannot continue to walk on eggshells and fear for every sound we make. We have been nothing but respectful to these people and yet they will be the cause that I leave the house that we have lived in and called home for 4-1/2 years.

Added to this issue is my car which now needs several repairs, all at once. I absolutely have to have a working vehicle as I am the primary source of transport for all three of my kids.

My anxiety is so severe as a result.

I am crying every day over these situations and am embarrassed to bring it up here.

My resignation to I don’t actually post this comes at a cost. I wish it were different but as a single mother of three, I don't have unlimited funds. I (we) reallyneed some help.

This is so hard to ask but any support you can offer will be appreciated beyond words.

Please help me and my kiddos into a better situation.
