Help Wanda Rebuild After Devastating Fire

Hi friends! If you're reading this and are not sure who I am, my name is Samantha (Barbie) and I'm setting this GoFundMe up on behalf of one of my closest friends, Wanda Fitts. Unfortunately, this past Thurs (7/24) Wanda's apartment building caught on fire while she was at work. She had a lifetime of her own collectibles, other family members collectibles (some whom have passed away) and more. Wanda did not have renter's insurance.

If you know anything about Wanda, she is a true blue friend, always the life of the party, an incredibly hard worker (do you know how many jobs she has?) and a lover of vintage and collectibles (she is the collector of all collectors, truly).

We tried visiting her apartment today in the hopes that we could grab some of her things, but sadly it was deemed unsafe. They are going to let the building dry out, hopefully we can try returning in about a week so she can attempt to grab other personal items and family collectibles. We will not know until then what will actually be salvageable.

Wanda is currently able to stay with some friends while she figures out what she will be able to do next. Her apartment building will likely not be habitable for another year and with real estate/rentals being so hard to come by, you can imagine how much more difficult this is. To top it all off, she hasn't been able to drive for the past year after sustaining a medical emergency while driving to work. Things have been really tough for Wanda---it's really difficult to see her hurting so badly. She is definitely not the type of person who likes to ask for help, but if you or any of your friends could contribute towards the replacement of some basic furnishings to make her comfortable and/or funds she could use towards a new apartment, I would be so grateful. I don't want her to worry and feel even more of a burden on her shoulders, not knowing what to do next.

Conversely, if you have any clothing, shoes, furnishings etc that you could donate, that would also be very much appreciated. Thank you for your help.
