Hi, I’m Stephanie Blassingame & I’m raising funds on behalf of my friend’s family; Wanda Jackson. Wanda passed away in her sleep on January 29, 2022. Wanda was loved by her family, friends & community within Greenville County & Spartanburg County; where she was originally from.

In her passing she left behind 2 daughters; Alex (31 y/o) & Skyler (18 y/o). Wanda cared for Alex as she has special needs since she was a toddler. She has been diagnosed with brain cancer & has been given up to one year to live. Alex recently ‘rung the bell’ on her last cancer treatment! Wanda started a prayer chain for her that is continuing till this day.

Skyler is a full-time college student in her freshman year. The care of these 2 young ladies is now the responsibility of Wanda’s elderly parents; Warren & Rona Jackson. They have instantly become responsible for the care of not only their granddaughters, but also for the home that Wanda & her family lived in.

Wanda was laid to rest in a beautiful service surrounded by her daughters, family & friends. The Jackson’s have already begun to take on the responsibilities of another mortgage, utilities, homeowners insurance, insurance for the girls, car insurance, & everything that comes along with a college student & a terminally ill cancer patient.

Every amount, outside of what goes to GoFundMe, will go towards the current care & future care of these young ladies.
