Hi, My name is Eric and I'm raising funds for my friend Walter Evans and his family.
Walter had a stroke earlier this month. He was taking his wife to work and after dropping her off, he wasn't feeling well and drove himself to the Adventist Hospital in Bakersfield
and while there he had the stroke.
Once they got his condition under control, He was paralyzed on his left side and couldn't talk or eat any food, so they put a feeding tube in and evaluated the severity of the stroke. After a few days he got some feeling in his left side and was able to talk some.
He was transferred to Encompass Health and Rehabilitation in Bakersfield for Rehab from
the stroke and is doing all he can to get better, but it will be a lengthy process to see how
much he can do. He still has the feeding tube in, but is talking better and hopefully they can
take it out soon. I know he is going to have a lot of physical therapy to hopefully regain use
of his body.
Anyone who has met Walter knows he has an infectious personality and he is very animated and intense when talking about subjects that interest him, He is also a very giving person who helps all around him and always has a good word of encouragement for everyone. I am glad to call him my friend
Please help Walter and his family in their time of need, insurance only covers so much and there is much he will need in the coming days and months.
Every dollar counts and will make a difference in his recovery.
Please share this campaign with your friends and family and spread the word.
Thank you for your compassion and support.
