My name is Brittney, and I'm helping raise funds for my Dad, Walter, who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma of the lung. He has been facing this privately, so some of you may already know and some of you may be finding this out now here but his medical expenses as well as his bills are mounting, and he's struggling to keep up. With the help of his family we were able to help him meet half of his out of pocket maximum for his health insurance to go towards starting to receive immunotherapy now but an additional amount needs to still be met in order for him to start receiving radiation ASAP. (He was actually turned away from starting treatment yesterday due to the amount owed upfront to even be seen which was horrible and devastating for him) Any donation, big or small, would mean the world to him to help meet the remainder of his out of pocket expense and anything additional will go to bills and expenses he will have through the upcoming months during treatments and take some of the financial stress off of him to focus on his treatments.
