I’m reaching out because my sister’s sweet dog, Walter, just had surgery. Last night, Walter suddenly developed a rapidly growing abscess on his face from a dental infection. It got worse over night and she rushed him to the vet.

Once there, the vet had to run bloodwork, take X-rays, give him medication, etc. and put him under local anesthesia so they could operate. During surgery they discovered that several teeth needed to be removed, and they also found an additional growth on his side that was removed and will be sent to the lab for testing.

The vet bills, surgery, medication, and dental work have added up quickly. Walter is family, and seeing him in pain has been heartbreaking for all of us.

The total cost for his treatment came out to $4,205. We don’t expect to cover this entire amount, but this is the full total of the bill — and even $5 truly helps.

I wouldn’t be asking if we didn’t genuinely need the support. Your kindness would mean more than you know to my sister and her dog.
