For our sweet Walter -

We've had him since he was just a tiny baby, growing up right alongside his brother, Stewart. From day one, he has been this energetic, playful, slightly wild little guy who brought so much joy and personality into our home.

A few days ago, Walter suddenly wasn’t acting like himself. We took him in expecting a quick check-up and that is when everything flipped upside down. What we thought would be a quick visit to make him feel better, turned into him fighting for his life. Since Friday night, Walter has gone through vigorous testing to find out what is wrong, has received a few blood transfusions to keep him alive & stable, and unfortunately it is becoming a long uphill battle to get him back to how he was. We have yet to find out what happened to our sweet boy. Watching him go through this has been heartbreaking and terrifying, and all we want is to give him the chance to come home.

As we continue his treatment, the medical bills are piling up much faster than we ever imagined. It’s overwhelming, and the thought of losing him because we simply can’t keep up with the cost is something we can barely handle. Walter is family, and we’re doing everything we possibly can to save him.
