Help Walter Heal and Rebuild

Dear friends,

I am reaching out on behalf of our friend Walter Kvale. As you know, Walter is an adventurous and loving soul, who spends much of his time teaching the youth of this community. Whether it be hockey, skiing or skateboarding, Walter has likely taught you a thing or two. His enthusiasm and stoke is contagious. But Walter needs our help. He was met with a request from a group of his closest friends and family members to leave Telluride temporarily to stay at a treatment facility to improve his quality of life. He has been battling demons for quite some time, and it was the appropriate next step in his journey.

I’m asking for your consideration to donate some funding towards this facility and Walter’s treatment. We are hoping to have him stay at a facility for 60 days at least, potentially 90 days. The treatment and stay costs between: $30-40,000. We have received a few generous contributions already. While Walter will be contributing to this as well, we don’t want him to feel a financial burden lingering for years to come; we want his journey towards sobriety to be encouraging and healthy.
