Meet Walter-our sweet, goofy, lovable puppy who's stolen our hearts from the moment we brought him home. He's still just a baby at 1.5 years old- full of snuggles, tail wags, and the kind of pure, unconditional love only a dog can give.

Walter has been diagnosed with an extrahepatic liver shunt, a serious condition that prevents his liver from getting the necessary blood flow to function properly. He also has stones in his bladder and only has one descended testicle. It's already required a $3,500 CT scan, multiple ultrasounds, and now he needs lifesaving surgery estimated at $6,500 to $7,500. There is a 5-10% mortality rate even after the surgery is performed. On top of that, he'll need a long-term prescription diet to keep him healthy for the rest of his life.

We're doing everything we can to give Walter the chance he deserves, but the financial burden is overwhelming.
