Stitches are out and no more cone! Wally is much more comfortable! Recheck is in three weeks.

Update -- Wally had his surgery yesterday and is doing well! Look at that smile (or is it the meds?)! His stitches will come out on Aug 1.

The surgery was cheeper than expected, and we lowered the fundraising goal accordingly. Thank you to all who contributed! We are still hoping for donations, as all the expenses went on a friend's personal credit card. Thank you!!!

This is Walnut (Wally). He needs entropion surgery to correct that his left lower eyelid is turned inward, which makes his eyelashes and skin rub against his cornea. His human passed away unexpectedly on July 2, and her friends are rallying together to take care of Wally.

The surgery is scheduled for July 25 and will cost $1,300. Pre-surgery bloodwork was $362. Any help is very much appreciated.
