Please Help Wallace

Hi friends,

For the first time in my life, I am making a GoFundMe to cover some of the cost of an unexpected emergency vet bill for a situation that happened with Wallace while I have been in the hospital myself. A perfect storm of awful timing.

To know Wallace is to love him. A classic loaf, affectionate, a cuddle puddle of purrs and often hilarious. He’s also a model!

And while I have not mentioned it on line because it’s been too painful, I lost both my Guinea pigs, Gertie and Edie, in the same week, under two weeks ago, right before I became an in-patient last Friday at Toronto Western, where I currently still am. I do not want to loose a third pet in under a month if I can help it.

Being locked in here, and not able to be there for him has been devastating for me. He made it overnight, and is now in the care of the Veterinary Emergency Clinic at 920 Yonge St. He now has a real chance at surviving his diagnosis of Ketoacidosis with proper 24-7 care.

Thank you to everyone for reading and considering, and thank you to those who would have wanted to if their own circumstances were better. Times are extremely tight for everyone and I understand this is a big ask.
