بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
I am raising money for Walaa and her family whom are displaced from the Gaza to the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza strip due to the ongoing war.
A message from our dear sister:
My name is Walaa, I am 30 years old, married, and have 3 children, two daughters and a boy. The eldest daughter’s name is Sham and she is 7 years old, the youngest daughter is Mays, she is a year and a half old, and the boy’s name is Amir and he is 5 years old.
I used to live in a room in My husband's family's house for 6 years, and my husband built a house for us because the room no longer fit us. He built a house and we accumulated debts and prepared it until that promised day came. The occupation destroyed my house even before I lived in it, so we became homeless and without a place.
We displaced several times, the last of which was to the city of Rafah. We could not even find a tent to live in, so we were forced to live in greenhouses made of nylon.
During the day, it was very hot and at night, it was very cold. The greenhouses were full of insects, snakes, and mosquitoes. We could not taste the taste of sleep.
There was no safety, no sleep, no food, no water. My children barely got sick from time to time. We get food so sometimes my kids would go to bed without dinner
The displacement to the city of Rafah was very difficult. Our lives became a tragedy and suffering.
We suffered a lot to obtain water and food, and this war has been going on until this moment for 8 months, without security, without a home, without life.
Even my children were deprived of their right to education, and ignorance began to threaten their future. They were deprived of their right. In safety and a decent life, they were deprived of their right to obtain their basic needs of food and clothing.
I dreamed of a beautiful future for them, but the occupation destroyed my dreams and ambitions.
Please help me and my family leave Gaza in order to save my children from ignorance and provide them with protection, safety and education.
I now live with my husband’s family, me and my children, and the place cannot accommodate us. I do not have any place to go. I do not even have a tent.
