I'm a Sudanese photojournalist, , who uses photography to explore themes of identity, displacement, and memory. Through my lens, I capture the emotional layers of memory, loss, and survival, especially in light of the recent war in Sudan, which has deeply impacted both my homeland and personal journey
I've been accepted into one year documentary practice & visual journalism program at the International Center of Photography in New York City, which is a crucial step in deepening my craft. I’m now raising funds to help cover my school fees and living expenses while I continue my studies and work.
I will use the $10,000 she’s raising for two primary purposes: to cover her school fees at the International Center of Photography (ICP) and to support her living expenses while she’s studying in New York City.
1-Rent in New York City, known for its high cost of living, will take up a large part of the budget
2-Daily commuting expenses around NYC.
3-Basic groceries
4-Medical insurance
This $10,000 will allow me to focus on my education without the overwhelming stress of financial strain, enabling me to pursue photography career in NYC.
