What is Black Wal Street Café?
Black Wal Street Café is a business I started in 2017 while completing my college degree at California State University, Chico. Black Wal Street Café serves soul food and homestyle comfort food, such as Cajun Pasta, barbecued chicken, barbecued ribs and Cajun-style fried catfish just to name a few. The business has operated as a home kitchen and provided catering services from Sacramento all the way down to Southern California. As of January 2023, we were able to secure a location in the Shopping Center located on West Sacramento Avenue in Chico.

What is the goal?
Raise $6000 to help with startup costs.
These funds will be allocated to renovations, equipment upgrades, technology and staffing, working operations, and our philanthropy work.
Mission and Vision Statement
Black Wal Street Café Mission Statement: To create an environment where absolute guest satisfaction is our highest priority.
Vision Statement: To serve as a beacon of hope for members of underserved communities, provide hot meals to the less fortunate, and provide young entrepreneurs with mentorship, job opportunities, and serve as their stepping stone to the business world.
With this new location, not only will I be providing Chico with a new variety of affordable food, I will continue my philanthropy work by providing the youth with mentorship opportunities and feeding those in need. Furthermore, I aspire to use this platform to support other small businesses and provide the necessary tools needed for their success. Your support of this vision means a lot to me and I know that collectively, we can make this happen. From every penny, dollar, share, and shout out, I am sincerely grateful.
