Hello everyone,

Wakabul lost her grandmother on Tuesday, November 18th. This fundraiser is to help cover the cost of flying her home so she can attend the funeral. Wakabul was incredibly close to her grandmother, but has not been able to see her since July 2024. Being able to return home during this heartbreaking time would mean the world to her, giving her the chance to say goodbye and grieve with her family.

Wakabul is an international student from Nigeria, and the sudden cost of round-trip international travel is beyond what her and her family can cover. She has no family here and is facing this loss far from home.
