Help Waiʻoli Fight Cancer

Dear friends and family,

Thank you for visiting this contribution page for Waiʻoli Forrest. The purpose of this campaign is to help Waiʻoli as he battles cancer and undergoes chemotherapy.

Whether you know Waiʻoli from paddling or elsewhere, most of us would agree that he always maintains a kind and positive attitude. Nevertheless, in April of this year, Waiʻoli's world was suddenly turned upside down when he was diagnosed with Stage III cancer.

Waiʻoli underwent emergency surgery in an attempt to remove the cancer, but unfortunately it had already spread to other organs in his body.

He is now undergoing aggressive chemotherapy treatment. The doctors anticipate he will need to face at least three cycles of chemotherapy, and as a result Waiʻoli will be unable to work for at least four months.

In addition to the chemotherapy, Waiʻoli and his fiancé Kayden will need to travel to Oʻahu immediately for fertility studies and cryopreservation. They hope to be able to start a family after Waiʻoli finishes his treatment.

Many of you have graciously offered to help contribute to Waiʻoli's treatment. As we all know, medical expenses add up quickly. By contributing, you will help Waiʻoli prioritize his health and recovery. Having to worry less about the financial burden of his treatment will give him more energy and strength to focus on getting into remission.

All donations will be used for Waiʻoli's medical expenses related to his cancer treatment.
