The owner, Waheed Abbasi, has put his entire livelihood into his store. Waheed opened the store for the community and has built real connections with all his customers that walk through the door.  Eye See Optique is his pride and joy and he has worked countless days and nights to bring the city of Arlington the most unique one-of-a-kind shopping experience.

 

Early Tuesday afternoon, January 11, 2022, Eye See Optique was burglarized. A group of organized criminals came through the front door and broke a showcase with over $60,000 worth of merchandise was stolen and close to $10,000 of damage was done to the store during the robbery.

 

This is the last thing that someone who works as hard as Waheed deserves. If you have ever shopped at Eye See Optique and met Waheed, you know how much love and appreciation he shows to each and every customer that walks through his door. He’s the most generous and selfless person I know.
