My name is Wael. I am 43 years old, and I am a father of nine family members, including children.

Before the war, I lived with my family in Beit Hanoun, Gaza. We had a simple home and a modest life. We did not ask for much—only safety, peace, and the ability to provide for our children.

When the war began, we were forced to leave our home and flee outside Beit Hanoun. We became displaced, leaving behind our home, our belongings, and the life we once knew. We have experienced hunger, displacement, fear, and tremendous hardship.

Today, we are still struggling to provide the most basic necessities of life: food, clean water, medicine, and essential needs for our family.

I suffer from a chronic illness, and my wife has high blood pressure and poor eyesight. With children depending on us, our situation has become extremely difficult.

Every day, we need around $40 to provide food, water, medicine, and basic necessities for our family. For some people, $40 may seem like a small amount, but for us, it can mean food for our children and another day of survival.

We are not asking for a luxurious life. We are simply asking for a little help to get through these difficult days and keep our family safe and fed.
