My name is Ilias, and I'm reaching out today to organize this fundraiser for my friend, Wael. Wael recently shared his story with me, and I was deeply moved by his determination to rebuild his future despite the immense challenges he's faced.

Here's Wael's message in his own words:

My name is Wael, and I'm from Gaza, Palestine. Until the 7th of October 2023, my world revolved around studying for high school and dreaming of becoming an engineer at the university. Then, war tore through Gaza. I watched in horror as bombs destroyed schools and universities, including the one where I hoped to study. My own education was cut short, and my family's home was lost in the bombings.

Despite these hardships, I haven't given up on my dreams. That's why I'm reaching out for your help. I need to evacuate my family from the dangers of war and continue my education. With your support, I can rebuild my future and achieve my ambitions.
