On January 31, 2026, I was headed from Temple to visit my mom for the day when my life changed in an instant. Someone made a sudden U-turn in a 60 mile an hour zone, cutting me off and leaving me no time to react. I did everything I could—slamming on my brakes and gearing down—but I still hit their vehicle at about 30 mph. The impact left me with a broken right hip that needed immediate replacement surgery, a busted left clavicle, and broken ribs on my left side. I’m grateful I was wearing protective gear, or things could have been much worse.
Now, I’m home after almost a month in the hospital, facing a long recovery. My motorcycle, Yuri, is in rough shape too. The damage looks mostly cosmetic, but I haven’t seen her in person yet. On top of everything, there are significant storage fees that keep growing every day, and I need to get a release from the La Habra Police Department before I can even start repairs. The financial strain from medical bills, lost work, and these unexpected costs is overwhelming.
If you’re able to help—whether it’s through a donation, sharing my story, or even spare parts—it would mean the world to me. Your support will help me get back on my feet and back on the road. Thank you for being there during this difficult time.
