My husband, Wade, was in a motorcycle accident on October 19th. A truck was in his lane trying to turn into a driveway, they stopped in the lane and didn't try to move. His only option was to hit the brakes and when he did the bike went out from under him, causing him to slide down the road and eventually hitting the curb with his whole left side of his back and shoulder. Thankfully he had no broken bones or internal bleeding. He did end up with severe road rash and a dislocated joint in between his collar bone and shoulder. Now he has to wear a sling to take the pressure of the shoulder and hope that it heals itself. He is covered from shoulder to wrist with wraps to cover the road rash. He has to stay out of work for no less than 2 weeks, as of right now. I'm having to stay out of work with him for a couple of days to change his bandages and clean it twice a day. He's having to sleep on the couch with pillows all around him and I'm sleeping on the couch next to him to check on him and help him up every couple of hours. We need help with paying for the hospital and follow up doctor appointments, because of insurance not wanting to pay. Also missing this amount of work has brought our income to only mine when I'm able to return to work later this week. Anything and everything helps at this point!
