Help Wade and Tiffany Recover From an Emergency
Donation protected

On this past New Year's Eve, Wade was rushed to an emergency veterinary hospital. He had appeared lethargic and had stopped eating or drinking water. The vet would soon discover that he had a life threatening gastrointestinal obstruction that required immediate operation in order to save his life. It was unknown if he would survive and at midnight, just as celebrations of the New Year were being held around the world, the dedicated surgeons worked through the night and performed a miracle. Thankfully Wade is now on his path to recovery. While everyone is blessed to have Wade with us still, the corresponding veterinary bills from the surgery and days of housing and rehab have been insurmountable. Tiffany has dedicated much of her life to thoughtful and loving stewardship of Wade and many other sweet animals. Everyone who has been fortunate enough to know Tiffany is aware of her kind and generous spirit as well as her deep empathy and compassion for other living things. She is an irreplaceable member of our community and I believe this is our opportunity to do our best to step up and help her in a small way in her dire time of need.

Since the emergency surgery to save Wade, Tiffany has been struggling to find a path forward to reconcile the immense financial toll that this event has wrought in her life, which has totaled over eight thousand dollars. This is far beyond her limited capacity to manage. In addition to the immediate medical costs she also had to take time off from work to monitor his condition at all hours of the day and night. By contributing to this campaign we can help relieve Tiffany of this crushing economic stress so she can focus on taking care of Wade and healing her own trauma from that night. Thank you for reading and for taking the time to donate toward Tiffany and Wade's recovery. Your contribution will make a huge difference.
