As most of you already know based off of past posts, my family has endured severe tragedy in the past year. Most recently with the loss of my nephew and sister in law. This is a tragic loss but we just keep putting one foot in front of the other and trying to make our way through it.

I am usually not one to ever ask anyting of anyone, but on Christmas morning Wade was admitted to Emmanuel Hospital with a very serious infection in his leg which was close to taking his life as it had entered his blood stream. He is one of the strongest men I know and this condition has left him feeling hopeless and scared. We have had some of the best doctors, nurses and wound care specialists assisting us during our stay. They have been treating him with some of the strongest antibiotics that they have available, accompanied with wound care procedures that are no fun for anyone. Although this is proving to work, it has been a very slow process in his recovery. Today they restricted visitors in the hospital due to covid increased illness but fortunately they have allow me to stay with him as his emotional support. Wades spirits have been extremely low and I can't imagine how he would feel if he was left here alone. We are both very grateful that they made me an exception to the rules. However, as we both sit in this hospital day after day, life is still happening outside. Unfortunately obligations do not stop when we are forced to. It has especially been weighing on wade as he feels at fault for this dilemma we face. We are not sure exactly how much longer he will be in the hospital. So far its been 5 days. They have not given him a release date as of yet. They just keep saying, "hopefully we will see some great improvment in the next few days and you'll be able to get out of here pretty soon."

Anyway, when we do get to go home, Wade will still have a bit of a battle in his recovery and a while out before he is able to get back to work and that is stressing him out almost as much as his medical condition. So, Im bringing our personal struggle to light here on facebook and go fund me in hopes to take some pressure off of us during this time of struggle. Big or little, all is appreciated and will be put towards our household bills and groceries. Anything will help. Thank you for caring and feel free to share this.
