End of Life Expenses For Danisha Grierson

My mom's name is Danisha Grierson and on August 18th, after giving all her effort to battling her sudden diagnosis of COVID-Pneumonia, she tragically passed away at 49 years old.

Although we got on each other's nerves sometimes, she was one of my best friend's. I called her just to talk almost daily and she did the same for me. I'm now placed into a position of shock and despair over my mommy's sudden passing and being her one and only next-of-kin, all decisions have landed on my very weakened shoulders.

Our family has lost so much over the last year but it saddens and confuses me beyond words that we have lost my nana, my papa and now my mother all within 19 months of each other.

This fundraiser is being held for my mom's end-of-life expenses, to bring her to North Alabama from Central Florida (where she resided), as well as the many unforseen expenses to handle her estate. Her is a list of detailed expenses as well as some estimated costs to which the funds from this charity will be used:

Death & Cremation Expenses ($1,300)
Memorial Services ($700)
Opening Danisha's Estate w/ Probate ($200-$300)
Lot Rent for her home during the time Probate is open - Approx. 6 months - ($800/mo. x 6 mo. = $4,800)
Moving Truck Rental - to move her belongings from Central FL to North AL ($757)
Gas Expenses - Each trip in my car is approximately $250 in gas, roundtrip

She loved her grandchildren and she loved them well. She called them her "Grabies" and taught them to always believe in and respect yourself, that "You can do anything you put your mind to" and how you should always treat people how you would want to be treated.
