Hello,

My name is Vyria and I'm a trans woman living in the USA. As things become increasingly dangerous for trans people, I am looking to flee the country and live somewhere that is both safer and easier for me to live off of my writing income. I am in a situation where it is difficult to find work in my previous career path, because of health reasons, and my current income is insufficient to live in the state I am currently in. The state I'm living in is largely accepting of trans people, but has had some dangerous events recently that make me afraid for my safety as time goes on.

My family lives in a state that is even more dangerous and if I am forced to move back home because of financial reasons, I am in even more danger.

That is why I am asking for help to flee the country. I've set a goal of 6,000 USD because this amount should cover: education to obtain a student visa, visa renewal fees, living expenses as I get settled, and moving costs. This will also help ensure my medical needs are met during the transition. I do not ask for this lightly, this has been a decision a long time coming and I've been researching my options thoroughly.
