My name is Natasha Shehu, and I am fundraising on behalf of my mother, Awa Al-Karim, who founded the Smile Women and Children Foundation.

For years, this foundation has been a safe haven for children and women in Nigeria who have been neglected, abused, and abandoned. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to create an environment where the most vulnerable women and children have access to safety, care, and justice.

Right now, the need is urgent. Many of these children are in desperate need of nutritious food, clean clothes, and medical care.

One little girl we support named Nusaiba (18 mos old) was abandoned by her own mother after suffering abuse that left her with a broken elbow. She now requires surgery to repair her arm ($1800 USD) .

Every dollar you give goes directly toward providing:

• Nutritious meals

• Clothing and basic necessities

• Medical care and life-saving procedures

• A chance for healing, dignity, and hope
