Help Vulnerable Afghans Escape the Taliban

Donation protected
My name is Enayatullah Shadab. I am a native Afghan and served as a linguist with the United States Marines Corps for three years in Helmand Province Afghanistan from 2009 to 2012. I served with six different battalions, including 2/4, 2/5, and 1/8. My dream was to serve the United States military, become a citizen, and get a world class education.

After several years of serving with the Marines, I was finally approved to move to the U.S. and get my citizenship. I moved to the U.S. in 2016 with my wife and three children and have been blessed to get a college degree and find a job.

Prior to the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban, I had been working to help get 19 members of my family out of Afghanistan and into the U.S. Like me, they are very supportive of the U.S. One of my brothers worked for a subcontractor to U.S. companies, and one was a student at the American University of Afghanistan and worked closely with the U.S. Embassy . The rest of my family, including my parents, was supportive of the U.S. presence in Afghanistan.

Now that the government has fallen, my family is at serious risk of retribution from the Taliban. My two brothers are actively being sought out by the Taliban. Members of my village who were similar U.S.-sympathizers have been caught by the Taliban, and no one knows what has happened to them.

I am now seeking to raise $35,000 for 19 members of my family, including my parents, brothers, their wives, and my nephews and nieces.

The money will cover $24,000 in lawyer fees and $11,000 in application fees to file for Humanitarian Parole in the U.S.

100% of the donations will be paid to the Law Offices of Bashir Ghazialam, a native Afghan who is now a U.S. Immigration lawyer who specializes in Humanitarian Parole. He will oversee the payment of the application fees as well.

Humanitarian Parole status is very near refugee status and will enable them to come to the U.S. immediately upon finding transportation.

I am very grateful for all of the blessings that the U.S. has given me and my family, and I am seeking additional assistance in this dire and time-sensitive situation to get my family out of Afghanistan.
